Very very easy with Cherry Shrimps actually, and as luck would have it a pair of mine posed brilliantly for the camera just for the purpose.
The female is the brightly colourled *cherry red* and the male as in life is the poor drab clear coloured (with a few red spots hehehe) here and there.
Just some new updated piccys of various fish in the tanks, you can never take too many, well thats my excuse anyhow, got the camera out most days with them.

As promised David, for the benefit of readers David is a fellow member on Fishcrazy.co.uk, no not owned by me, funny enough found the site years back as i wanted to own Fishcrazy along with obviously Reptilecrazy (as i am also into fish) but alas it was taken, and what a cracking site it is too.
Anyway enough waffle, updated growth piccys of the snails as David is having some off me when they are ready to go.

The shrimps are out more and more so are obviously totally at home in the guppy breeding tank, and have managed to get some real cracking photos, hope you enjoy.
Loads of the useual, more snails, more guppys being born, gosh those elusive growing up teenagers manage to do the biz before i can catch them. But we do have some beatifull yellow fry growing on and another batch just delivered, so its not all bad. Still waiting on my darn shrimps to mate and start egg carrying.
Decided on the other shrimps i am going to breed, slightly larger species at 2 inches which is Banded Clawed shrimp, quite rare i beleive and the males grow claws, i have 4 of these on order so hopefully i still get some of both sexes as they are still immature and not sexable, whats the betting i get 4 females huh, lmao.
Grand clear up booked again for tomorrow, having all been poorly this week bar myself the filters are in desparate need of attention, makes me greatfull i do have all these snails and shrimps to deal with it all and keep it atleast in some small part under control.
